Brewing Instructions

Gongfu Style (Recommended)

  • Tea: 5–7 grams

  • Water: 195–205°F

  • Rinse: Quick 5–10 second rinse (discard)

  • Steep:

    • 1st infusion: 10–15 seconds

    • Increase time slightly with each infusion

✨ Expect multiple smooth, flavorful infusions as the leaves fully open.

Western Style

  • Tea: 3–5 grams

  • Water: 195–205°F

  • Steep: 2–4 minutes

For a stronger cup, increase steep time slightly to preference.

Tea-Licious Tip

The first rinse “awakens” the leaves and begins releasing that soft honey aroma. Watch how the color transforms from light golden to rich amber as the tea develops — each steep tells a different story.
